The building is situated in Riccione, Rimini, on the italian northern adriatic coast, not far from the beach and from Viale Ceccarini, bound by the outline of the previous building which used to be an hotel, now completely demolished. The building is designed for culturally and formally demanding clientele and makes use of particular luxury design solutions in the handling of details and of dramatic and linear elements in the use of space, in surface treatment and in comfort requirements (acoustic, visual and hygro-thermic well-being).

The five storeys above ground (and one underground parking garage) houses ten apartments of various layouts (60/120 sqm) all with modern comforts, technical refinements, and huge terraces bordered with flower containers in order to protect privacy. The apartment entrance, the living room, the kitchen, the two bedrooms, the bathrooms and the corridor are featured in eight out of ten apartments. The larger two suites, located on the two upper floors, are luxurious (5+5 meters corner windows, whirlpool built-in on the terrace, precious wood, floor and wall air conditioning/heating, etc.).

Especially, the choice to avoid corner pillars has allowed particular windows (which can be closed by a remote control from bedside beds), all of them bordered with flower containers, bringing in the nature inside and at the same time being a formal plastic-dramatic element. Outside an unpretentious passageway welcomes the guests to a covered and protected gate furnished with video intercom (Siedle Steele) and other supplies. Inside the gate the passageway is built of narrow stripes of basaltina stone with steel border at the grass level. On the side, a long flower container covered with basaltina stone houses ornamental plants, simple and relaxing, such as bamboo and “mood lighting”. Some low basaltina stones mark the passageway being the bases for vases and seats.

A steel door with opaque etched glass leads into the hall and the staircase, covered with basaltina stone, giving the impression that the “carpet” which welcomes the guests continues inside, leading them to the doorsteps of their own suite.
