The complex is screened from street-traffic by a green-filter created by a big public porch, modeling the ground. This dramatic shape, acting as a public arcade, hosts halls and auditorium and it's the real added social value to the project. It's the strong element of the image perceived by the outside, hosts hall for users coming from public transports and cycle runs. On praticable roof garden there is a run (also used for the solar panel's maintenance) that allow a good view of the school complex. The choice of disaggregation is given from the demand to capture spring and summer winds, but also from the necessary of see outside as extension of the inside functions. The court's proportions and foreshortenings are, to scale of child, the same perceived from the adult in the urban plaza's system of historical centre of Ravenna. The spaces are reunited around halls or attractive zones, as units with large glasses toward courts and external. Each unit is about 9x8 m, and has a saddle roof. There are a lot of shade zones with arbour and/or climbing green, with the same units' scholastic profile, real open-air rooms. A mosaic sculptures garden surrounds the buildings providing some cultural/artistic interests.
