Architecture as an "emotional rescue".

The firm, settled in 1999 in Ravenna, Italy, works mainly in the fields of architectural and urban planning, with particular research in urban requalification and redevelopment, industrial requalification and new premises, residential/hotel design and museum planning. Other activities involve planning of public and social spaces, within urban developments or sub-urban new areas.

So that the firm is involved mainly on two complementary directions: industrial support and architectural premises. From the needs and quick process of the first comes the straight scheduled attitude; from the variable shades of the second one comes the attention toward sensibilities. Both are carried on as method and applied to every kind of work the firm is involved in.

Many national and international competitions and tenders have been carried on, with excellent results (first prizes and other awards winning) during the past years, toghether with selected partners.

The firm is conducted by Stefano Dosi, licensed engineer, member of several committees (as the ones for Quality in Architecture and Landscape in public administrations, and the Joung Engineers in Engineers' Association). As a professor of Bologna University, since 2002, he is also engaged in international multidisciplinary work experiences in Bosnia (Tuzla). He wrote several books about professional and technical educational experiences, while some of his works have been published in Italian papers and magazines.

The firm is formed with Claudia Cirolli, licensed architect, and takes advantage of hi-profile specialized partners, engineers & architects, during the past three years, Anna Giulia Babini, Andrea Baiocchi, Mila Ballestri, Chiara Bandini, Andrea Bugli, Gioia Guidazzi, Francesca Lattuga, Lorenzo Lisotti, Francesco Lorenzi, Marco Manca, Lucia Moretti, Antonio Mularoni, Giulia Paffile, Roberta Rossi, Stefania Santandrea, Laura Zuffi. While other technical complementary consulences are held by resident or outsource partners (structural & plant engineering: 3TI Italia s.p.a., Insinga s.r.l. - safety: CREA s.r.l. – landscape: Giuseppe Orselli – sustainability & environment: IGEAM s.r.l. etc). During 2009 Valentina Guerrini and Sara Fabbri, both architects, joined the firm.

Professional skills are brought also through institutional bodies, in order to achieve results in term of quality and wellness applied also to public needs. Architecture as an "emotional rescue". Regulations and norms are just technical paths to be fulfilled: what we live for are emotions. Our aim & belief is to bring such feelings into users and, on the other hand, to achieve the highest standards & quality results for our clients.

Current activities: renewal of former Cento train station complex near Bologna, architectural services for industrial premises for Hera spa & Ecofuel spa in Ravenna and for Italgas spa and EniServizi spa in Italy, urban and detailed planning of mixed use areas in and near Ravenna, offices and residential building near Pesaro, Ravenna Port Authority infrastructures, several houses renewal & restructuring in Ravenna historical city centre, and new residential low-energy premises in Belgrade (Amadeo I, Amadeo II, Basilio).
